Quinn Taylor

Quinn Taylor is a distinguished leader and visionary in the field of health sciences. For over three decades, Taylor has served as the Head of the Health Sciences Department at Brookwood University, where they have been instrumental in shaping the department’s trajectory and fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation.

Under Taylor’s leadership, the Health Sciences Department has evolved into a premier institution for health education and research. Taylor’s commitment to advancing public health is evident through their extensive work in community health initiatives, including the development of several groundbreaking programs aimed at improving access to healthcare for underserved populations. Notable among these is the “Health Equity Outreach Program,” which Taylor founded to address health disparities through education, advocacy, and direct service.

Taylor’s research focuses on the intersection of health policy and public health practice. Their influential work has been published in numerous leading journals, and they have been a sought-after speaker at national and international conferences. Taylor’s recent research projects include a large-scale study on the effectiveness of preventive health measures in reducing chronic disease incidence and a collaborative project exploring innovative approaches to mental health care in diverse communities.

In addition to their research and administrative responsibilities, Taylor has played a key role in expanding Brookwood University’s Health Sciences curriculum. Their efforts have led to the introduction of new programs and specializations, including the recently launched Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management. Taylor earned their PhD in Public Health from Harvard University, an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
