Embarking on a Journey to the United States as an international student or foreign citizen typically involves obtaining a visa. The most common visa type for foreign students is the F1 visa, and we offer comprehensive information on this and other visa categories below. Navigating the visa application process, overseen by USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Service), can be overwhelming. To ease this process, our International Student Visa and Immigration Center is dedicated to providing accurate and helpful information for obtaining student or work visas. Let us assist you in realizing your academic and career aspirations in the United States.

F1 Student Visa

The F1 Visa is the most popular/ common visa that is issued to incoming students into the USA. Generally, it is issued to students who are coming to the USA to study on an academic program or to come to learn English as a Second Language. F1 students must maintain full-time student status.

M1 Student Visa

If you plan on enrolling in a school that offers training rather than degrees, you may be eligible for an M1 visa.

J1 Visa Student Visa

Students who are required to complete an internship or practicum as part of their degree program are eligible for a J1 Visa; however, the J1 Visa also covers a large "Work/ Travel Program" that allows students to come to the United States for three to four months to find work and explore the country.

Green Card Lottery

H-1B Visa
